Last
August, Sherry and I packed up the contents of our townhome in Orlando and made
our way to the beautiful mountains of Tennessee. God graciously provided a very mild winter to ease our
transition from the tropical climate, and we have loved watching the changing
seasons at Fairhaven.
Most of
all, we have enjoyed meeting so many of you! We have been constantly amazed, humbled and blessed to hear
that you pray for us and for Fairhaven regularly.
Last
year we had more than 2000 guests at Fairhaven, and it looks as if we will be
be blessed with even more this year.
Many of you have come for the first time, and you have returned to your
homes and sent your pastor and your friends to Fairhaven. Thank you!
We are
delighted to report that generous donors have enabled us to refurbish some of
our lovely chalets and cottages; and one guest saw the need for work on our
bridges and covered the cost of that.
We are
thankful for each of you and for God’s faithful provision for this ministry.
We hope
you’ll visit us soon!
